Hello, my name is Chandrayee. I am a certified professional photographer and creative director.

I moved to Houston for graduate school from India, and it’s here that my story as a photographer truly began. After meeting my wife, I fell in love—not just with her but also with photography. What started as a way to capture the beauty of everyday moments quickly became a passion I couldn’t ignore.

In 2020, I decided to take a leap of faith and open my own photography business. With little experience as a business owner, I ventured beyond the boundaries of my engineering background to explore a creative path that felt deeply meaningful. While I continue to teach engineering at the University of Houston to stay sharp in my field, photography has become my way of telling stories and creating connections.

Through my lens, I aim to capture the magic of life’s moments—big and small. Whether it’s a bustling event, a quiet celebration, or the vibrant energy of downtown Houston, I strive to create images that make you feel the story behind them.

Every journey starts with a spark of inspiration. Mine came from love, creativity, and the courage to try something new. Let’s create something unforgettable together.

FAQ: Get to Know Me

"Show Your Pride" is a campaign I started in 2023 to celebrate the stories and identities of the LGBTQ+ community. It began as a collaboration with the Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce, inspired by their mission to uplift and empower our community. Through this campaign, I aim to capture the authenticity, joy, and resilience that define us, one photo at a time.

What started as a local initiative has grown into a personal passion project. Whether photographing individuals, couples, or groups, my goal is to create a space where everyone feels seen, valued, and celebrated. "Show Your Pride" is my way of giving back to the community that inspires me every day.
